With nowhere to sleep, Marie-Michelle comes to the rescue

My final night CouchSurfing before heading to the Blueberry Farm was about 20 minutes outside of Peterborough and coming to my rescue with just a couple of days notice was Marie-Michelle who along with her parents and five sisters lived in this beautiful home that wherever you looked there was something to take your interest...

...During the evening I spent with Marie-Michelle we ventured out on an 8km bike ride in the dark before sitting down with a big bowl of buttered popcorn to watch none other than Happy Gilmore.

Unfortunately I got to spend very little time with Marie-Michelle but in the little time I did have, both her and her family were ever so welcoming and provided me not only with a lovely vegetarian dinner but also a goody-bag full of treats for the following day's bus journey which, and best of all, included a dozen PG Tips tea-bags!
