Since arriving in Canada I have witnessed more passing thunderstorms than in 24 years in the UK, but until now they have all been during the day meaning I have been unable to try and photograph them.
Thankfully, that all changed last night and I was able to capture these images just using my iphone 4S and the app slowshutter

The adventurer inside of me had long ago decided that hitchhiking across Canada could lead to becoming one of the greatest experiences of my life and a challenge like none other than I have faced before.
Though having never hitchhiked, the idea of thumbing it 6,000km remained to be just a little bit daunting.
